I have always loved horses, ever since I was given my first My Little Pony when I was about 5, her name was Apple Jack.
I started riding when I was 9 and never looked back – I was hooked. I spent many years after that looking after other people’s horses, doing the mucking out, grooming, cleaning tack – sometimes being rewarded with a ride ! I’d do anything just to be around them.

I have over 20 years of experience of working with young children, people with learning disabilities, elderly people and those with ‘lived’ experiences. I have worked with the Brothers of Charity Services, worked for Merseyside Police, taught in HMP Liverpool, taught in college, worked for 11 years as the Education Manager at The Beatles Story in Liverpool and have spent the last 6 years running by own business. I am a fully qualified teacher and have spent all my working life doing something that involves helping people. Animals have always been in my life and have seen me through some tough times and happy times, they are the constant thing and are always there for me every single day – they are my therapy and I love to share the joy they bring.

I am also a trained First Aider and have been on numerous training sessions for this. I am also DBS checked by the Disclosure and Barring Services.
