Raspberry Fields Therapy Ponies

We had a visit from Raspberry Fields Therapy Ponies today and they brought along Bandit and Stanley. It was an amazing experience for our residents, prompting them to relive some memories from their younger days which was delightful. The staff greatly benefitted from the visit too as it was a change in routine for the day. From our initial enquiry, the booking process and the day of visit it was all very professionally and ran seamlessly. We look forward to booking them to come again and will definitely recommend.

                     Care Home in Warrington, Cheshire

We booked Raspberry fields for a lady who has dementia and resides in our care home. When younger she had horses and her bedroom she has old rosettes, riding hat and crop (all in purple her favourite colour). Due to this ladies dementia she can be low in mood and stay in bed, however we arranged a visit from Stanley. This lady was enthusiastic to get up and dress in her favourite purple colour. Stanely came and was also dressed in purple. She was thrilled with the visit, lots of smiles her words “I Love him”. A fantastic experience with a positive outcome.

We also booked Stanley for our beach themed day, he arrived dressed in multi coloured ribbons, and was appreciated by all the residents, staff and relatives. Stanley visited those nursed in bed in their bedrooms which was lovely to see the smiles on their faces. The staff were great, very accommodating and patient with our residents. We will certainly be booking again. Thank you for putting smiles on our residents faces.

"Shelley and her beautiful ponies at Raspberry Fields Pony Parties have been supporting Jump Children's Charity for a couple of years now. We are grateful beyond words to Shelley and her team for their unwavering support of our charity. The children we support have life limiting and threatening health conditions and we are always looking for things to bring along to our events to add some much deserved sunshine and smiles.

Well, the ponies certainly do that! 

We have been lucky to meet Stanley, Mr Todd and Bandit. They are all incredibly behaved around the children and Shelley is wonderfully professional and caring. We would recommend Shelley and her team to anyone, particularly to those organisations who may be considering animal therapy for the young people they work with. It is truly special.
