Each member of the team has a small bio page so please feel free to read on and if you have any questions we're always happy to help!

I have over 20 years of experience of working with young children, people with learning disabilities, elderly people and those with ‘lived’ experiences. I have worked with the Brothers of Charity Services, worked for Merseyside Police, taught in HMP Liverpool, taught in college, worked for 11 years as the Education Manager at The Beatles Story in Liverpool and have spent the last 6 years running by own business. I am a fully qualified teacher and have spent all my working life doing something that involves helping people. Animals have always been in my life and have seen me through some tough times and happy times, they are the constant thing and are always there for me every single day – they are my therapy and I love to share the joy they bring.

‘Super’ Stanley is 19 years old, been there, done that. He is the most amazing and gentle pony that you will ever meet. He is a firm favourite now with lots of the places we visit, he has become a little celebrity in his own right and even has his picture up on the doors of some of his favourite residents rooms! Stanley can go indoors and turn around or back out of rooms. He is partial to a biscuit so watch out if he visits during tea breaks!!

Bandit is the smallest of our team but has a huge personality! His unusual blue eyes are a real talking point along with his soft pink nose and fuzzy ears. He enjoys a cuddle and is happy to stand and listen to everyone’s stories. Bandit is 15 years old and is very calm, he can go indoors but prefers larger spaces such as communal rooms or outside in garden spaces.

The spotty one with a cheeky side. Mr Todd is 14 years old and is a standard Shetland pony meaning he is larger than Stanley and Bandit. Mr Todd is great with all ages and is very fond of zips and pockets – so watch out if you have a fancy zip! Mr Todd can go indoors but due to his larger size he is better suited to bigger spaces such as communal areas and garden spaces.
